Dave Stefko is senior vice president of Eberhard Roofing and sits on the board of trustees for the Union Roofing Contractors Association. He is married with 4 daughters and 2 grandsons.

Without question Dave Stefko’s priorities start at home. When not at work, Dave spends time with his family. “I have two grown daughters that live near by, giving me the opportunity to spend time with them regularly,” says Stefko.

Dave also has two young daughters still at home who help to keep him young at heart. The Stefkos love to travel as often as possible as well as spending time at their second home in Palm Springs.

To say the least, Dave has worked in a number of positions in the roofing industry. “Roofing is all I have ever done, with the exception of a couple of years in college,” says Stefko. “I have done about all the different jobs there are in roofing.”

Some of Dave’s positions held include being a kettle cleaner, roof loader, and then sales representative for Head Roofing. He has been an estimator, sales manager, and corporate vice president prior to becoming the senior vice president at Eberhard Roofing. Dave is also a past president of both the Roofing Contractors Association of Southern California and the California State Roofing Contractors Association.

The goal of URCA is to promote the union roofing contractor and what that represents; systems installation by highly trained professional roofing mechanics; top pay for roofing mechanics; family health care and a pension for the future; and educational grant programs for members of the industry and their families.
