URCA is committed to providing the best possible training and support to all of its union-affiliated member contractors and their employees. URCA offers free educational and safety training programs including Foreman Leadership Training, Professional Sales, Estimating, Installation Training, Fall Protection and Forklift Safety Training and CPR Certification Training.

With assistance from URCA, member contractors and their employees continually strive for the utmost in craftsmanship, integrity, skill, and safety.

Scholarships
Each year URCA awards a number of scholarships for undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited college or university as well as those planning to continue their education at a technical or vocational school. Those scholarships total $15,000 and all employees and members of their immediate families may apply. First Aid/CPR Training
URCA offers certified First Aid/CPR training to all members and their employees. Instruction will be scheduled through qualified providers, and can include bilingual instruction when necessary. These 8-hour programs are conveniently held on the premises of members, and can be renewed every two years.

Employee Assistance Program
URCA's Employee Assistance Program provides professional counseling services which can be reached 24-hours a day, seven days a week. The EAP services are confidential, and will provide help for emotional problems, alcohol or drug dependency, marital conflicts, stress, gambling, legal and financial problems.
